SSDL (Social Summer Dota League)

We are entered. There are now 16 teams so it should be kicking off soon. Here is a link to the website for the league.

We are allowed 5 players and 5 subs. Im sure the subs will be getting games, as the listed 5 wont be available for every game, and even if they are i might want specific players for specific lineups etc e.g. genkis pro enchantress jungle lolz. These are not in a specific order btw. Could those on the list please pm me their cellphone numbers and msn if i dont already have them (or just post on here). Or let me know if you dont want in so you can be replaced. Need to know by 25th december, as i cant change the lineup after then. Sorry to those who arent in the 10, but they will be running it again i hear, so practice up for next time and impress me .

buga ur not here for it man. Sigh, it starts in january. When are you back? Catscan said he lags too much to play lolz, so i cud swap him for u, so wen u get back u wud b on list as sub 2 play. I think it goes for a while lol.

another note for those doing this ssdl is to go on the website and under the general section, add your vote to the polls.
Rules are that if a hero gets enough votes then there will be an auto ban for him/her/it

And I think you guys are gonna do well. There is some good competetion like:
WdY (basically mcc - Watch out for them. WiNdWaLkAh is an excellent player)
LppT (I dont know all of them but some of them are quite good players)
vmR (I dont know if anything has changed with these guys but they used to be quite good)
AuG (Not going to be hard to beat, but they can put up a decent fight with some of their players)
BVD (This is probably the top team on the list. VERY good players. Watch out for them)
HLG (I didn't know Moh had a clan. Watch out, from what I remember these guys are good)
Shck (I don't know much about them but Bishop is good, and as he is only a sub then the rest of the clan must
be decent)

If I had to rank the clans it would be like this:

(Just remember, i havent been in the clan scene for a while so things may have changed)

Ok, now something I suggest you guys do is this; Go to the dota allstars website and download replays of the other teams and analyse them. Watch for the support/carry/style I can assure you, they are doing the same. Make sure you download replays that include the people that are entered in the competition. Its no use looking at a replay if nobody in it is competing.

yeh but ssdl = social league lol. Ill watch some of their replays if i can, but meh. We just raped lppt, shock we can beat. We lost to wdy pretty bad. But we cud beat them i rekon. Ill just ban visage lol. No phone number same, dont think i typed wrong.

something else to mention, had a chat to s-dwang (think thats his name) and he noted that its bo3. For those who dont know what that is, its "best of 3". So pretty much a round robin as mentioned above but just have to beat the team 2 times out of 3. and we were warned that if you a clan cant play a day that some of the vs's against other teams may last 3 hours.

Yes hes just getting a bit wound up about the bo3 thing, and trying 2 get the whole community against it, basically cus he doesnt like it lol. i mean we play way more then 3 hours anyway lol. 3 hours in 3 days, i mean cumon. Na u shud b back in time. I think its gna go for a while. We got 15 teams 2 play twice and we get 3 days 2 play a team. So 15x2x3 is 90 days.

ye thought so, wen he mentioned that we may have to play 3 hours of dota... i was like...hmmm we have done alot worse than three hours..
