lolz, i dont normally have music on when im playin dota or ladder. Unless its just a fuck around game.

Otherwise i like linken park and that kinda music, i like akon/ne-yo/usher that kinda stuff, basshunter and that techno stuff, the verve/live/faith evans and that nice kinda music, eminem and the rap stuff. In other words pretty much everything.

Music during dota is distracting, unless it has no words, eg. instrumental or whatever. Even so I prefer the silence... punctuated by mouse clicks, key board taps and DOUBLE KILL!

yeah, they still needa put an EPIC FAIL in there. Also theres a few times where ur running down river and you hear them creeping, even though u dont see them. Ive hooked from top rune 2 get someone at the scourge creep camp just from sound once. Mad blink hook. They were like BS HACKS RARGH@!@!!!@!

I always have music on. No matter what I am doing.

always listen to music, pretty much anything bar death metal. Have a nice collection of dance/trance/electronic and house music which i usually listen to.MOS/MINt/Session1/2/3, Hed Kandi, chillout.(a mate got me into the random "scooter" dance music). Imported both Basshunter albums in from europe...
like rock such as linkin park, anything that pretty much plays on 90.2FM. reall depends on the mood

90.2 is the rock in Auckland. I listen to the edge when I don't have my computer or iPod on playing music.
Recently I have been plugging my iPod into the speakers directly and its amazing. (I have powered speakers) I just unplug the speakers from the computer, put them in the iPod, connect the iPod to the computer with the dock-usb thing for power so the iPod doesn't run out. Its awesome cus now I don't have iTunes slowing down the computer when I am photoshopping.
Only bad thing is I cant hear the MSN *Ding*

Been really getting into Dubstep in the past couple of days. My favorite genres always been Gabber but Dubstep is just sooooooo awesome! Tell me what you think >_>

It's a genre called hardcore... NOT techno. Plus it's not screamo cause they aren't emo and they dont scream.

A bit of a metal head myself, but also a guitarist so I might end up listening to Steve Vai or w/e but usually I range from:

Dream Theatre <- Softer prog metal
Megadeth <- Classic Thrash
PanterA <- Definition of heavy metal
Children of Bodom <- Melodic death metal
Opeth <- Prog death metal
Decapitated/Whitechapel <- Death Metal

I also listen to the complete other end of the scale with some of the great classical composers such as Chopin, Bach, Mendelsshon etc. etc.
