Pudge vs Drow
The other day i was using pudge, vs a well used drow ranger, i was ripping up every1 else, and killed drow a couple of times. But i found the silence a real pain in the ass, and the frost arrows made it pretty hard to hook and eat someone and then make a quick get away. Cus b4 hes dead drow is on ur ass with a silence, or if u hooked from a good spot just gets there in time 2 frost u as u run away. Making it rather easy for the other team to own, u. Just reminded me of the first counter in the counter game Pudge for Drow. Thought id post it here to keep the other one on topic.

Hah! And last time I saw you playing pudge you were crying about silence(r) . Suitable counter is to just hook drow? Or just hook with team, or hook when drow isn't near. I mean in all seriousness, in a proper game you couldn't expect to hook one guy out of 3 while alone and expect to get away with it...

fuck yeah i do it all the time lol. Or if its like 5v5 pushing mid and i hook and eat sum1, then their team spams shit, then i cant get away cus of stupid drow. And i silence i cant even cancel rot lolz. I was bitching bout silencer or dta? I cant remember getin pisd off by a silencer.

It was silencer. But it was whenever we got silencer and got a combo off that things worked out, hence hook silencer . I think the moral of a story is... use pudge to start off a fight, but dont' expect him to hook solo a team

IMO pudge counters almost everyone in a 1v1 situation.

Yeah if your getting out laned, and you dont get off a few hook/kills early with pudge you can get urself in a bit of trouble and have a rather lame game. But if you get off to a nice start getting 2/3 kills in mid by lvl 7ish then you got some cash on your hands for some boots/bracers or even BoT if they havent been harassing and you have been last hitting. Then you just run top/bot grab the rune get a kill or 2, come back mid get another kill there, and repeat lolz.
Had a mean game with pudge when bud.bong was techies for me, i just stayed mid most of the game repeatadly getting kills hooking onto his mines, i didnt leave mid for soooo long. Just to grab runes and come back, i was so over leveled lolz.
Pudge is one of my favourite last hitting heroes (high dmg and quick attack animation, plus it looks cook). He is definately my favourite for creep blocking, hes so fat lolz, u can block 2 creeps at once, i made the other creeps attack mid tower before myne even got there lolz.

Re: Pudge vs Drow
Any hero can effectively block creeps, model size isn't much of a factor.

Yes it is, Riki blocking is really hard. Nevermore blocking is a piece of cake.
It has nothing to do with model size. Just pathing size.
Its like when you hook THD with pudge you can easily aoe hook him but on riki (again i know) its harder because you mostly have to hook him straight on.

Re: Pudge vs Drow
it is way easier with pudge no doubt, you barely have to move side to side.

Re: Pudge vs Drow
um i dont think so, having to micro 2 units quickly could fail. I know when someone tries to help me block they end up blocking me and the creeps go round me, then it either takes them ages to stop them, or they get past them aswel.
